What is ChatGPT and why is everyone talking about it?

We’ve all been there, sitting at your computer trying to write a school project, or a script for a work presentation. Hour after hour passes yet you are still staring at a blank screen. If only there was someone or something that could do it for you. Well…
An AI copywriting bot called ChatGPT could ease the pain and suffering of students and content professionals.
The AI technology developed and released in late November 2022 by OpenAI caused quite a few ripples in various industries that require creative writing.
The program can answer very specific questions, write copies on an endless magnitude of topics, and even produce code. Its self-learning capabilities also mean that with each task the program performs it becomes better and better.
Creative specialists as well as schools and universities around the world have raised concerns on what the implications of such technology would be. The ChatGPT bot could write human-like essays for students, meanwhile companies could also opt to move away from hiring copywriters and just let the AI generate text.
ChatGPT is not the only software in the market that performs similar tasks. Some of its quickly-gained traction could be attributed to the founder of OpenAI – Elon Musk, as anything this man touches becomes worldwide news the very next day.
Of course, the AI program is in its early stages and should not be considered as a sole solution for companies or individuals wanting to use it as a do-all replacement for copywriters, or developers. Sometimes the answers generated by the program do not make sense. The program can also go off topic following original parameters without asking the user additional questions.
AI writing is still in its infancy, but the future does seem bright. Education, coding, and copywriting industries will have to adapt and use these AI tools to their advantage.
