TeslaPay Debit Card Terms and Conditions
Effective from February 1st of 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of TeslaPay Cards as a payment instrument and apply in addition to the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement concluded between you and TeslaPay, which regulate your TeslaPay Account and related payment services.
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the General Terms, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail only to the extent of matters specifically relating to TeslaPay Cards. In all other cases, the General Terms shall apply.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully and keep a copy for your records. You may request a copy of these Terms and Conditions, the current Fees and the current Usage Restrictions at any time by contacting us using one of the Contact Methods. You may also obtain information about recent Transactions made using your TeslaPay Debit Card.
The TeslaPay Debit Card is issued by UAB TeslaPay, an Electronic Money Institution incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, with its registered office at J. Jasinskio g. 16, 03163 Vilnius, Lithuania, legal entity code 304715528. The TeslaPay Debit Card is a Mastercard debit card linked to your TeslaPay Account and may be used to carry out Transactions in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Definitions:

| TeslaPay Card | either of the TeslaPay Debit Card or the TeslaPay Virtual Card and “TeslaPay Cards” shall be construed accordingly. TeslaPay Cards are issued by TeslaPay under the Mastercard scheme |

| PIN | the unique personal identification number associated with your TeslaPay Debit Card, which may be used to authorize Transactions |
| POS Transaction | a transaction initiated by you to purchase goods or services at a point of sale |
| Privacy Policy | TeslaPay’s privacy policy, which describes how personal data is collected, processed, stored and shared by TeslaPay, as may be amended from time to time. A copy of the Privacy Policy is available on the TeslaPay Website |
| Payment Instrument | means a TeslaPay Card or any other instrument used to initiate a Transaction. |
| Terms and Conditions | these terms and conditions, including the current Fees and Usage Restrictions set out in the Annex. The Privacy Policy also applies to the relationship between us but does not form part of these Terms and Conditions |
| Transaction | Transaction any transaction executed using a TeslaPay Card, including a POS Transaction, an E-Commerce Transaction and/or an ATM Transaction |

1. Applying for the TeslaPay Cards
1.1 To obtain and use TeslaPay Cards, you must hold a TeslaPay Account and be of full legal age in your country of permanent residence and hold a valid national photo ID issued in that country.
1.2 As part of this process, you may need to:
(a) provide personal details (including your full name, date of birth, residential address, email address and mobile phone number) so that we may verify your identity; and
(b) read and accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
1.3 Where we are not able to verify your identity in accordance with clause 1.2(a), we may ask you to provide additional supporting documentation, including scanned copies or photos of identification documents (such as your passport or driving licence) and proof of your residential address, until we are able to verify your identity successfully. If we are unable to verify your identity based on the documentation you have provided, we may, in certain circumstances, require you to provide certified copies of such documentation. We may also carry out additional checks or request updated information from time to time in order to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
1.4 If you have not completed the steps set out in clause 1.2, you will not be able to complete the TeslaPay Card issuance process.
1.5 If you already hold a TeslaPay Account, you may not be required to repeat the identity verification process, unless this is necessary to comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
2. Use of funds in your TeslaPay Account
2.1 Your TeslaPay Account is governed by the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement. Funds held in your TeslaPay Account may be used to perform Transactions using your TeslaPay Cards.
3. Your TeslaPay Cards
Your TeslaPay Debit Card
3.1 Your TeslaPay Debit Card will be delivered to the address provided by you in accordance with clause 1.2(a).
3.2 Delivery of your TeslaPay Debit Card should normally occur within 5–10 Business Days following your successful application. If you do not receive your TeslaPay Debit Card within 10 Business Days, you should contact us using one of the Contact Methods.
3.3 When you receive your TeslaPay Debit Card, you may be required to activate it in accordance with the instructions provided by TeslaPay. To activate your TeslaPay Debit Card, you may be asked to provide certain details, such as your full name and date of birth. Once your TeslaPay Debit Card is activated, you may carry out Transactions in accordance with clause 4.
Your TeslaPay Virtual Card
3.4 Your TeslaPay Virtual Card may be generated via the TeslaPay Website or other TeslaPay channels. You can access your TeslaPay Virtual Card details by following the instructions provided by TeslaPay.
3.5 Your TeslaPay Virtual Card will include all the details you would expect to see on a plastic card, including the card number, expiry date and CVV number (i.e. the 3-digit code on the reverse of the card).
4. Using your TeslaPay Debit Card
4.1 Once your TeslaPay Debit Card is activated and subject to these Terms and Conditions and the applicable Usage Restrictions, you may use:
(a) your TeslaPay Debit Card to carry out POS Transactions, E-Commerce Transactions or ATM Transactions; and
(b) your TeslaPay Virtual Card to carry out E-Commerce Transactions,
provided that Mastercard payments are accepted in each case.
4.2 We cannot guarantee that a retailer, ATM or online merchant will accept your TeslaPay Debit Card. You should check with the relevant retailer, online merchant or review ATM signage before attempting to make a Transaction. Your TeslaPay Debit Card is a chip and PIN card and may also be used to perform contactless Transactions.
4.3 You must ensure that there are sufficient funds available in your TeslaPay Account to cover the amount of a Transaction and any applicable Fees. You will only be able to carry out Transactions using your TeslaPay Debit Card to the extent of your available Balance. Any Transaction you make using your TeslaPay Debit Card will be deducted from the funds held in your TeslaPay Account.
4.4 The Fees and Usage Restrictions applicable to your TeslaPay Account and TeslaPay Cards are set out in the Annex to these Terms and Conditions.
5. Authorizing Transactions
5.1 You will be required to authorize each Transaction at the time it is initiated using your TeslaPay Debit Card or TeslaPay Virtual Card, as applicable. A Transaction will be regarded as authorized by you where you:
(a) authorize a POS Transaction by following the instructions provided by the merchant or retailer, which may include:
(i) entering your PIN;
(ii) providing a signature, where applicable;
(iii) inserting your TeslaPay Debit Card into a card reading device; or
(iv) using contactless functionality or other authentication methods;
(b) authorize an E-Commerce Transaction by following the instructions provided by the merchant or retailer and by providing your TeslaPay Debit Card or TeslaPay Virtual Card details and/or any other authentication details as requested;
(c) authorize an ATM Transaction by inserting your TeslaPay Debit Card and entering your PIN.
5.2 Subject to clause 5.3, you may withdraw or revoke your authorization for a Transaction at any time before the authorization is received by us by contacting us using one of the Contact Methods. Once authorization has been received by us, it cannot be withdrawn or revoked.
5.3 Your authorization for a POS Transaction, an E-Commerce Transaction or an ATM Transaction is received by us at the time we receive the relevant instruction from the merchant acquirer or ATM acquirer. Such authorizations are typically received immediately, and it is therefore unlikely that you will be able to withdraw or revoke your authorization before this time.
6. Blocking TeslaPay Cards and refusing Transactions
6.1 We may at any time block, restrict or cancel your TeslaPay Cards, and, where applicable under the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement, suspend or restrict access to your TeslaPay Account or refuse to issue or replace the TeslaPay Cards for reasons relating to the following:
(a) we are concerned about the security of the TeslaPay Account and/or of the TeslaPay Cards that we have issued to you;
(b) we suspect your TeslaPay Account and/or TeslaPay Cards are being used in an unauthorized, illegal or fraudulent manner;
(c) we need to do so to comply with applicable laws or regulatory requirements;
(d) you tell us that your TeslaPay Debit Card is lost or stolen as further detailed in clause 9;
(e) if the contract between us has been cancelled as further detailed in clause 7.
6.2 Unless it would compromise reasonable security measures or be otherwise unlawful, we will, where practicable, inform you by phone or email of the suspension, restriction, closure or blocking, including the reasons for such action, before it takes effect. Where this is not possible, we will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable afterwards.
6.3 We will restore access to your TeslaPay Account and/or unblock your TeslaPay Cards as soon as practicable after the reasons for the restriction or blocking no longer exist, and we will inform you accordingly.
6.4 We may refuse to carry out a Transaction:
(a) if we believe that you are acting in breach of these Terms and Conditions;
(b) if we suspect that a Transaction is unauthorized, fraudulent or illegal;
(c) if the amount of the Transaction together with any applicable Fees exceeds your available Balance; or
(d) if we are unable to carry out the Transaction due to errors, failures or refusals by merchants, ATM operators, payment processors, card schemes or other third parties involved in processing the Transaction.
6.5 If we refuse to carry out a Transaction, unless informing you would compromise reasonable security measures or be otherwise unlawful, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and no later than by the end of the Business Day following receipt of the Transaction request. Where possible, we will provide this information via the relevant payment interface (e.g. merchant terminal or website), or otherwise by phone or email. You may contact us using the Contact Methods to request further information regarding the refusal and, where applicable, how to correct any issues that led to the refusal.
6.6 You may request correction of any information we hold that may have caused a Transaction to be refused by contacting us using the Contact Methods.
7. Cancelling your contract with us
7.1 The contract between us, as set out in these Terms and Conditions, will continue until terminated in accordance with this clause 7. Your TeslaPay Debit Card will be valid until the last calendar day of the month indicated on the card. We may issue a replacement or renewed card in accordance with our procedures, unless you request otherwise.
7.2 You have the right to terminate this contract at any time by giving us at least 30 days’ prior notice via one of the Contact Methods or via the TeslaPay Website.
7.3 We may terminate this contract with immediate effect by giving you written notice if you materially breach these Terms and Conditions, including where:
(a) you repeatedly breach these Terms and Conditions and fail to remedy the breach within a reasonable time;
(b) you act in a threatening or abusive manner towards our staff or representatives;
(c) you fail to pay any applicable Fees or charges when due; or
(d) in the event of your death or legal incapacity.
7.4 We may terminate this contract for any reason by giving you at least 2 months’ prior written notice.
7.5 We may also terminate this contract with immediate effect and/or block or restrict the use of your TeslaPay Cards if we reasonably believe that they are being used for fraudulent or other illegal purposes. Any suspension or restriction relating to your TeslaPay Account is governed by the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement..
7.6 If this contract is terminated by you or by us, the use of your TeslaPay Cards will cease. Any redemption, withdrawal or return of funds from your TeslaPay Account is governed by the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement.
7.7 Once this contract has been terminated, you will not be entitled to a refund of amounts relating to Transactions already executed or pending, or any Fees incurred prior to termination.
7.8 The termination provisions set out in this clause apply specifically to TeslaPay Cards and do not affect the termination of your TeslaPay Account under the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement.
8. Keeping your TeslaPay Debit Card secure
8.1 You must take all reasonable care and precautions to keep your TeslaPay Account details and your TeslaPay Cards secure and must not allow your TeslaPay Cards to be used by any other person. You must also keep your PIN secure and must not disclose it or allow it to be used by anyone else.
8.2 If your TeslaPay Debit Card is lost or stolen, or if you suspect that someone else knows your PIN or other security details, you must follow the instructions set out in clause 9 without delay. If your TeslaPay Cards are used without your authorization and you have failed to notify us in accordance with clause 9, you may be liable for any resulting losses, in accordance with applicable law.
8.3 You must keep your PIN and other security credentials confidential at all times and must not disclose them to any other person. If you suspect that your security credentials have been compromised, you must notify TeslaPay immediately using one of the Contact Methods so that appropriate measures can be taken.
8.4 We may block or disable your TeslaPay Debit Card at any time if, in our reasonable opinion, you have failed to comply with these Terms and Conditions or if there are security concerns.
8.5 We recommend that you regularly review your Transaction history via the TeslaPay Website or other TeslaPay channels to identify any unauthorized or incorrect Transactions. We will provide you with access to Transaction information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Where applicable, Transaction information will include:
(a) information enabling the Transaction to be identified;
(b) the amount of the Transaction and the currency in which it was debited;
(c) any applicable Fees;
(d) the exchange rate applied (where relevant); and
(e) the date on which authorization was received, as described in clause 5.
9. Reporting security breaches and unauthorized or incorrectly executed Transactions
9.1 If you know or suspect that:
(a) your TeslaPay Card has been lost, stolen or misappropriated; or
(b) your PIN or any other security credentials have been compromised, disclosed or used by an unauthorized person,
you must notify TeslaPay immediately using one of the Contact Methods.
9.2 If you believe that a Transaction has not been authorized by you or has been incorrectly executed, you must notify TeslaPay without undue delay using one of the Contact Methods. We may ask you to complete and return a declaration form or provide additional information to support your claim.
9.3 We may investigate any claim relating to an unauthorized or incorrectly executed Transaction and, where permitted by applicable law, we may charge a reasonable fee where the claim is found to be unfounded or made in bad faith.
10. Refunding Transactions
10.1 Provided that you have notified us in accordance with clause 9.2 without undue delay and no later than 13 months after the debit date of the Transaction, you may be entitled to a refund of an unauthorized or incorrectly executed Transaction. Your rights to report unauthorized or incorrectly executed Transactions are governed by applicable law and shall not be limited by any conflicting provisions in the General Terms.
10.2 If an unauthorized Transaction results from the loss, theft or misappropriation of your TeslaPay Card details or security credentials, we will refund the amount of the Transaction, except for any amount for which you may be liable under applicable law (which may be up to a maximum of EUR 50, where applicable).
10.3 If the unauthorized Transaction occurred as a result of your fraudulent actions or where, with intent or gross negligence, you failed to comply with your obligations under these Terms and Conditions (including obligations to keep your TeslaPay Cards and security credentials safe), we will not provide a refund and you will be liable for the full amount of any losses incurred.
10.4 Where a refund is due, we will process it without undue delay and, in any event, within the time limits required by applicable law, following receipt of your claim and any information required to assess your entitlement to a refund.
If, following investigation, we have reasonable grounds to believe that a refund was not due or was incorrectly calculated, we may reverse the refund and you may be liable for any resulting loss.
11. Withdrawing funds from your TeslaPay Account
11.1 Withdrawal or redemption of funds from your TeslaPay Account is governed by the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement. TeslaPay Cards may be used to access funds (e.g. ATM withdrawals) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
12. Our liability
12.1 We will not be liable for any loss arising from:
(a) any unauthorized Transaction where you have acted fraudulently or where, with intent or gross negligence, you have failed to comply with your obligations to keep your TeslaPay Cards and security credentials safe;
(b) abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided despite all reasonable efforts;
(c) any refusal by a merchant, ATM operator or other third party to accept your TeslaPay Cards; or
(d) our compliance with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
12.2 We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, unless such loss arises directly from our breach of these Terms and Conditions or is required by applicable law.
12.3 We will use reasonable efforts to ensure the availability of TeslaPay Cards and related card services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from temporary unavailability or interruption of card services, except where required by applicable law.
12.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law. Liability relating to the provision of payment services and the maintenance of your TeslaPay Account is governed by the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement.
12.5 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for:
(a) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12.6 TeslaPay does not warrant or promise that TeslaPay Cards will meet your requirements and you use TeslaPay Cards at your own risk, except as otherwise required by applicable law.
13. Use and protection of information
13.1 In order to provide services under these Terms and Conditions, we may process your personal data and share it with third-party service providers, payment scheme operators, and other partners, to the extent necessary to perform our obligations and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
13.2 All personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we collect, use, store and share your information.
14. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
14.1 We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time in accordance with applicable law.
14.2 Where required by law, we will notify you of any changes at least two (2) months in advance by email or via the TeslaPay Website and provide you with the updated version of the Terms and Conditions.
14.3 Changes to exchange rates may take effect immediately where they are based on reference rates (including those set by Mastercard) or where such changes are favourable to you.
14.4 If you do not agree with the proposed changes, you have the right to terminate your contract with us free of charge before the changes take effect.
14.5 If you do not notify us of your objection before the changes enter into force, you will be deemed to have accepted the changes.
15. Fees and Usage Restrictions
15.1 15.1 Details of the Fees and Usage Restrictions applicable to TeslaPay Cards and related card services are set out in the Annex to these Terms and Conditions. The applicable Fees and Usage Restrictions may be updated from time to time and are available on the TeslaPay Website. Fees applicable to TeslaPay Cards form part of the overall Pricing structure governed by the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement.
15.2 15.2 By accepting these Terms and Conditions and using TeslaPay Cards, you agree to pay the applicable Fees as set out in the Annex and on the TeslaPay Website.
16. Your details
You confirm that all information you provide to us is true, accurate and up to date. You must promptly notify us, using one of the Contact Methods, of any changes to your personal details. We may rely on the information you provide to us as being accurate and complete. When contacting you in relation to TeslaPay Cards, we will use the most recent contact details you have provided.
17. Data Protection and how we use your information
17.1 We act as a data controller in respect of the personal data you provide to us. We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. By using TeslaPay Cards, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Please read our Privacy Policy carefully, as it explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal data. By using your TeslaPay Account and TeslaPay Cards, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
17.2 If we suspect that information provided by you is false, inaccurate or incomplete, we may record this and take appropriate measures in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
17.3 You must not provide us with personal data relating to another individual unless you have obtained their consent or have another valid legal basis to do so in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
18. Assignment
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another company (including any affiliate of TeslaPay), in accordance with applicable law, by giving you at least two (2) months’ prior written notice. Such assignment or transfer will not adversely affect your rights under these Terms and Conditions.
19. Complaints
19.1 If you have a complaint regarding TeslaPay Cards or related card services, you may contact us using any of the Contact Methods. We will handle your complaint fairly, consistently and promptly, and we will keep you informed of the progress of its resolution. We aim to provide a final response within 15 business days of receiving your complaint. In exceptional circumstances, where we are unable to respond within this timeframe, we will inform you of the reasons for the delay and provide a final response no later than 35 business days from receipt of your complaint.
19.2 If you are not satisfied with our final response, or if we fail to respond within the timeframes set out above, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Bank of Lithuania, which acts as the out-of-court dispute resolution authority for financial services in Lithuania. Further information is available on the website of the Bank of Lithuania.
This complaints procedure applies specifically to TeslaPay Cards and does not affect any complaints procedures set out in the General Terms of Payment Services Agreement.
20. Disputes with merchants
If you have any disputes regarding purchases made using your TeslaPay Cards, you should first contact the merchant from whom you purchased the goods or services. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of goods or services provided by merchants. This does not affect your rights to request a refund or dispute a Transaction in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, applicable law, or the rules of Mastercard. Once a Transaction has been authorised, it cannot be stopped, but you may be entitled to a refund in accordance with the procedures set out in these Terms and Conditions.
21. Severance
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions (or part of any provision) is found by a court or competent authority to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision (or part of it) shall be deemed deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
22. Governing law and language
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania (without prejudice to your rights under applicable consumer protection laws)
These Terms and Conditions are provided in English. Communications between you and TeslaPay will be conducted in English, unless otherwise agreed.
